I've seen someone making a case for Rashford the other day. I think his mentality is suspect and for that reason only, I wouldn't touch him with a bargepole. He's earning way too much money for his contributions, too.

There's always a sucker who thinks he can get that kind of player's career back on track. That's how we sold Dele to Everton. But at the end of the day, it almost never comes off. Once it starts going downhill in football, there's no way back.

no, same statement as GB made (motivation, consistency, won't track back, will think he's bigger than Spurs), but also he brings a media circus with him, last thing we need is RDZ spending half his press sessions every week talking about Rashford.

I think whoever gets Rashford will get him for significantly less than the 40M United are stating, they need him off the books, any money they get from him is profit.

Why did Rashford 'blow cold'?
Was it because he was getting free school meals for kids and fell out with some of the many sh*t managers MNU had?

Genuine question, am not sure of timing. People say he only plays for a new contract, but is that true?

Rashford looks really threatening and scores lots of goals, unlike many other wide players.

People dislike him so they are never going to rate him.

I'll take a shot

- Rashford is a story, him coming to Spurs would be a story, he's been fined for being late to training, calling in sick and missing cup ties, agent issues with family. RDZ will have Rashford questions in every press session (that's a circus)
- When did he blow cold? 21 goals one season, followed by 5, followed by 30, followed by 8, followed by 7. It's worse if you look purely at league form, swings from 4 to 17 back to 7. Basically, the last time Rashford put together 2 decent seasons in a row was 2019/20 - 20/21, 5 years ago.
- It's been 3 seasons since he scored double figures in a league

I actually don't have any issue with Rashford as a person, as a player the numbers suggest his best was 4 years ago and the fact that no one is willing to bite at 40M says most people agree.
