The papers (I know I know...) seem to think we want him to basically just sit behind and sweep up whilst NDombele (and possibly GLC?) play with more freedom next season.

Every manager makes mistakes in the market of course. Point is I’d back him to know what players are best for us, especially on a mental level over armchair football fans....

Of course but what if they were right and he was wrong like proven he has been in past?

Point is anyone can be wrong about players, even the pros

Bale was an injury prone one season wonder, Modric was a backward and sideways merchant with no physical presence and never scored or assisted and Berbatov was lazy and made to look good by Keane. Don’t forget Carrick, what does he even do?! For the c200m we got for them we will be able to buy 10 better players. United and Madrid mugs!

As we are in London it would seem difficult to sign him just to play away games and has he showed no interest in the game when he didnt have the ball I would say no, but there must be lots of you tube fans who love him, if only matches lasted 20 seconds we would all be world beaters.
