The key to it being a great window is whether or not we plug the gaps that make us vulnerable. That's what teams like Liverpool did to go up a level and what we have been terrible at except perhaps when Harry was here.
Bringing a player like Bale back is fantastic. But his injury concerns me a little especially as we are Tottenham and these things always bite us on the arse. We desparately need some steel in midfield, steel that Dembele and Wanyama provided us before and has never been replaced. So even with the Bale signing this won't be a great window until we have sorted out the defensive midfield.
