Would be an amazing signing. The guy plays like an absolute beast. You can also see him fitting into a Poch system as well - quick, aggressive, good on the ball. Really hope this isnt just press talk
Regarding Wimmer, actually I'd keep him - Sanchez can cover RB as well and I think we need another CB in addition to Wimmer. Start Trippier as first choice RB and then Sanchez/KWP as cover and see how things develop over this year (i.e. whether Trippier steps up, how KWP develops etc)

Sanchez is very highly rated - a fast, ball-playing, athletic centre-back for whom the sky's the limit, in terms of potential. But he's also right-footed - and his profile is such that he'll probably expect a starting place straight away (otherwise, no reason to move to us from Ajax - he's talented enough to just make the jump up to Barca or somewhere straight away in 2019 or so, provided he keeps developing).
It's interesting. If we get him, it isn't because he'd replace Wimmer - he would probably start for us in the RCB slot that Dier currently occupies. Which subsequently begs the question, where does Dier go?
