Transfer Rumour Thread

Delle Alli is shrewd as well......Still needed to shift a few who remain and will make things difficult for poch!
 
Probably no bad thing that Adebayor and Capoue remain with us as we could still end up with real fixture congestion if we progress past Fiorentina. I'm sure both of them will be gone in the Summer, along with Kaboul, Chiriches and probably Sodado as well.
 
Glad we didnt leave ourselves short, I think that the "Ade only plays when he wants a contract" is just a easy tag, however if its true he will be very motivated now. Play well and you get one last decent move, if not your going to drop back to 50k a week at QPR or West Ham equivalent.

Capoue - Will go but he must also think that he is only getting offered West Brom
Kaboul - Could be more of an issue as he has zero motivation due to his contractually situation
Chiriches - Never seemed too much apart from paper talk

Paulinho, Dembele, Soldado probably on the brink

Probably wise to hold out and see where we are next season be happy to remove just the first 4 (and Lennon)

Then guess we will be after Rodriguez type, Schneiderlin Type, New CB, and a striker.

Second three may be replaced by Pritchard, Carroll, Youth players depending on rest of season.
 
What a let down. Monster boring. Now watch our lack of firepower mean our season crashes and burns.

Three winter windows running we have failed miserably. Chelsea, City and Arse strengthen big time. Us...nada.

Disappointing to say the least.

In what way did Arsenal strengthen big time..... By signing a young Pole and a Brazilian centre half who can't get in the Brazil team?
 
Anyone with doubts about recent fallouts must have changed there minds considering what names were banded about today.
 
Really disappointed we failed to strengthen our defence in this transfer window. But happy we managed to keep fringe players like Lamela, Paulinho, Soldado and Capoue. Not surprised we failed to find any buyers for Adebayor and Kaboul yet again.

Which striker that changed clubs should we have signed?
 
January has always proven to be an agent's wet dream, just one month to buy and high demand, they and tbf the clubs can charge whatever they like. I think ever since the deadline day madness of Carrol and Torres some clubs have finally woken up and smelt the coffee.

Personally I'm not surprised it was a boring one, you have to be mad or desperate to sell your best players right in the middle of the season.
 
Alli was good business. If Eriksen or Kane get injured or hit with a case of burn-out before the CC final, we are not going to win that game. Still, can't expect ENIC to put trophies over consistent profits. I'll just stay thankful that they actually signed someone, even if that someone was a) from League One, and b) loaned straight back.

Sigh. Once again, our glorious owners just reek of ambition. All hail, all hail.

This for me as well, those who thought we could move a load of players out and some in during the transfer window need a reality check as it was never going to happen.

If only they were as ambitious as Liverpool's. Giving one of their best young player a long contract and ehm, err that's it really.
