*** Tottenham vs Crystal Palace OMT ***

Well, when it happened to Dele there was no whistle

This. Not sure it'll help, since it's going mostly one way at the moment.

An expected, turgid half. Palace have threatened a few times, we only managed to threaten them once when Eriksen got into the box. The ball's not sticking with any of our players, but we've held our own up until the final third - there hasn't been an objectively *bad* performance from anyone save for Walker, who has looked very off-color with his decision-making and crossing attempts today.

Wanyama needs to be subbed - I don't trust this ref not to send him off. Get Son on and go 4-2-3-1, although that will leave us defensively weaker (Zaha + Townsend will be given the freedom to run against our two full-backs and force our center-backs wide to double up, leaving room in the center for Benteke, whereas with a three-man backline there would be a centre-back spare to deal with him regardless of anything Townsend or Zaha get up to on the flanks).

We can win this, but it won't go down as a classic by any means. We could also lose this - a high chance of that, too, since Palace have objectively threatened us more than we've threatened them.

The referee seems to have some condition which means he can only point in the northernly direction. Let's see if he'll be cured during the half time break.

Ref has been brick but let's stop pretending he has given everything to them. Wanyama could and have perhaps should have gone, Dembele could have been booked for either persisting fouling or for dissent but hasn't been booked.

Never seen Walker so bad.

Has Chelsea's win last night taken a lot of out the players? Looks like it so far.

We could sub on Son and Sissoko for Dembele and Wanyama, then go like this:

-------------lloris
walker----toby----vert----davies
----------dier----eriksen
-sissoko------dele-----son
--------------kane

Palace bringing us down to a Fat Sam sort of level, plus a drooling mongo of a referee.
I Googled drooling Mongo and found two images that perfectly some up this match - the lack of Chadli-gol and the referee

I thought we were too quick to kick the ball away. No confidence in our own ability under a bit of pressure.

Walker got into a few promising positions which came to nothing but overall our attack looks devoid of any spark. If Dembele is OK I think I would take Wanyama off before he gets sent off, and bring Son on with Dier and Dembele in the middle.

First you say Dembele has been poor, then you say Sissoko is the answer

Smoking crack during the game is really bad for your health

Redknapp claiming Wanyama's should have been red-carded but for the booking he was clearly fouled immediately prior, not given, and for the 'foul' against Townsend it was a clear dive by the ex-Tottenham man, no contact or if any, it was absolutely minimal. Townsend did not need to go down, so he should have been booked and Spurs awarded the FK.

Redknapp is a prize clam!
