Saturday was a rare instance of Højbjerg outshining Bentancur (in my view) but maybe Bentancur was asked to snuff out Coutinho (who had a good first half).

If he was, he didn’t do a very good job of it! Countinho caused us endless problems first half. Although ran out of steam massively second half

He definitely improved second half. First half the centre mids were stepping out to press and leaving space behind them, Coutinho is a clever player and loves those little pockets
 
They were rather good, we weren't at our best. They can fudge right off though, nasty bastards.

Gutted to lose Doherty for the season. Feels close to a miracle they didn't injure more of our players. (assuming there aren't more injuries we don't yet know of).
