---------Tottenham v Liverpool OMT-------

My biggest concern though is the current standard of refereeing we are being subjected too. Today's display was abysmal, their must have been a few fans, me included, close to a coronary today they were getting that wound up by his eagerness to blow for a foul for the slightest nudge on a red shirt, but oblivious to the same foul on a white one. It really is beginning to get me down.

That was the most wound up I have got inside the Lane at a ref for years, he was a massive thunderclam

Milner shouldve been off after 8 minutes for a start, the list of gonads decisions went on and on from there

The foul he did on Rose when Chadli was down was blatantly ignored as the ref dealt with the injury. It looked a bad foul from the park lane

The last one which was ignored and actually waved play on was like a Judo hip toss

Disappointed we didn't win that game against a tinkle poor 'pool line up! Kane can't buy a goal atm, and his touch when he recieved the ball, was sometimes harder than his shots. He really need to find his shooting boots.

We definitely lacked some creativity yesterday. I thought Eriksen moved well and did his bit, but Lamela wasn't having the best of days offensively, and Clinton disappeared a bit in the second half. With Kane misfiring and generally looking a bit tired up front, we didn't look like scoring, really.

I did not think we played a particularly bad game though. Dembele was excellent in midfield, MOM for me. Alderweireld calm as you like in defense. Good to have Rose back too, I thought. Clinton is obviously still pretty raw, did some very basic mistakes, but also showed glimpses of immense potential. Great technique for the shot Mignolet did excellent to save in the first half. Also had a few shimmies and whatnot in the first half. I'm sure he's going to come good for us.

As someone pointed out, this would've been one of those games that we could've collapsed in the first 20 minutes just a couple of seasons ago. Glad to see we could ride that off.

Rather than congratulate you for your "prediction" i think we can blame you for today's score which was evidently due to your tinkle-poor OMT.

I'm DISGUSTED! At least the team put in more effort than you did today...

yes the team put in more effort, but showed just as much inspiration, creativity, and quality as I did. Meaning fcuk all ;)

Seriously though, I predicted 0-0 because we are dogsh!t poor in attacking areas but we are defensively ok.

Kevin Kilbane on Match of the Day: Spurs lacked creativity... But Mignolet was man of the match, ok then KK

I liked Klopp's watch too

Kloop did F all yesterday we just couldn't put the ball in the net - we could/should have easily won that by as much as 2/3 zip.

We have to sort this in the next two windows. we are letting average teams off the hook.

Agree. It's annoying that we could really have a good 6, possibly 8pts more than we have right now if we could convert our chances.

Over reaction mate. Dembelle, Alli, Lamella and Kane were all having to adjust to changes in formation and personnel.
Without Dier and son we play a different game, with a different dynamic. Then we lost Chadli early to boot. Two years ago this would have been another drubbing.
I get your frustration. This was the he acid test today for us and it looked like we scrapped it, but actually we did very well and but for some awful refing, poor luck and a couple good saves we would have won that easily.

yeah but we would have been up against Suarez, Sterling and Sturridge flying at us from all angles...........yesterday we had to deal with Origi, Lallana and Milner, not exactly the same thing is it;)

True, and we also had kaboul and vlad just to make it easier. Point is though everything was against us yesterday but we stood up to it and came out the side unscathed. This is a work in progress and it's moving forward, let's keep things in perspective.
We've played Man U, city and Liverpool and only lost one and conceded two goals.

The ref is not any worse than most. Blaming the ref is too Jose for me.......
I'm not "frustrated" other than with the result. The performance allowing for the players available was quite good.
Other than first 15 minutes which I expected due to Kloppmania, I was pleased performance wise.

We need a couple more windows before we will see the finished Pochettino Spurs.

Quietly optimistic.

Just want to mention that the coverage of Klopp was so absurd on BT Sport.

Are they really that short of ideas that they needed to show that massive inset picture of him for two full minutes, during the game.

Then, they showed a REPLAY compilation of his best gesticulations and note-taking. I mean, really?

And in a similar vein, I wish they would stop showing close ups of managers, players on the bench and people in the crowd whilst the game is going on. You can hear the ball being kicked and the crowd shouting, yet I'm watching Daniel fudging Sturridge sharing out his mints among the other stiffs.

Same for the second and third replay of some lame defensive header, meaning that we miss the attacking team taking the resulting corner. What are the directors thinking when they do this?

Aaaaand another thing! How many time did BT Sport have to trail their forthcoming shows and games during the game with that massive, annoying graphic? It was at least four times a half. Jesus, do either side of the add breaks at HT, do it in the build up and post match analysis but let us watch the game relatively uninterrupted.

Other than that, decent point, sometime soon it's gonna click for Harry. Will be good to have Son and Dier back soon.

This is another game we should have won. We are simply drawing too many games that we should be winning. A draw against Liverpool is not really bad since we have lost our last 5 matches against them. But we had enough chances to win this match. But again we badly lacked the killer instinct in front of goal. Liverpool were missing so many key players that we really should have beaten them easily. Instead, in a typical Spurs way, we are now winless in 3 matches since thrashing ManCity. It is always disappointing when we get a big win and then goes on a winless run. And this season, we have become a draw specialists as we are drawing too many matches. All these lost points might come back to affect us later in the season.

Our failure to buy another striker looks more and more stupid now. Kane is still struggling to get back his goal scoring form of last season. He really should have scored the 2 chances he got in this match. Similiarly, Njie and Alli should have done better with their chances as well. This match proves that we are badly lacking reliable goal scorers now. Was hoping we could win a freekick for Eriksen to score from. But unfortunately, we didn't get any favour from the ref at all. We badly needed inspiration from somewhere but we didn't get any.

Our midfield struggled badly early on but fortunately they improved as the match went on. Dembele was easily our best midfielder as he was helping our attacks as much as stopping Liverpool's. Credit to Dembele for making many crucial tackles that stopped Liverpool attacks. Don't think we missed Dier as Dembele had a brilliant game in midfield. Both Eriksen and Lamela had a quiet game while Chadli was unlucky to go off injured so early.

Despite not winning, credit to our defence for keeping this clean sheet. Ofcourse we were helped by Liverpool missing their main strikers Benteke and Sturridge. But thought our defence looked comfortable for most of the match, apart the early Liverpool header which hit the post. The goal posts seems to be saving us lot this season as our opponents have hit the post many times so far. Let's hope we will continue to get lucky this season.

Would have accepted a draw against Liverpool before this match. But it is disappointing how we failed to win despite having many chances. More disappointingly, we are now winless in 3 matches since beating ManCity. It is great to extend our unbeaten run in the league to 8 games though. Just wish we can convert those 5 draws into wins which would put us at the top of the league !

Absolute rubbish. I've said if before, but when will people see this is poch's level, he just isnt good enough to get any better out of us, then what we saw today. Stands there staring out onto the pitch with simply no clue what to do. And because he has no clue what to do he simply does nothing.

The fawning knee jerk comments after Emirates Marketing Project were, as predicted, hilarious. Of course some players did'nt peform well and Kane is simply gone at the moment, but Poch is simply not capable of motivating, inspiring or coaching these players to a better level. This is it. What you are watching is as good as it gets. Dont expect more because under Poch it aint coming.
