There was no movement of the hand, he lunged across to block the shot with his foot and had his arms just by his head, they didn't move, but although instinctive for balance to do that, he should have had his hands by his side or behind his back.
 
I can understand why he gave the pen. Naughton stopped a shoot from point blank range by his hinds. Seen them given all the time.

But no way was it intentional. He was one yard away. No chance to move his hands.

I can only think the linesman said he stopped it going in. So by that rule you get sent off.

But he had no way of seeing from that angle if it was on target.

All very harsh.

West Ham really are a long ball team now.
 
We're a bit of a shambles. Need HT.

1. don't press the ball when its with their back 4.
2. Press the ball as soon its midfield - at the moment we drop off allowing time to for them to pass the ball forward.
3. Counter attack!
 
ITS TOO EASY FOR THEM IN MIDFIELD! Funcking me off. Our midfield is not tight enough and is giving them too much space to play. Amazing we're not losing.
