Based upon the principle that we have beaten the decent teams and lost to the poor teams this season I am expecting a defeat

I'm not confident of getting a result but I don't know why as they're distinctly average.

What is there to fear? Even Kane ain't all that. Take him away and I don't fear them any more than West Brom, Stoke or Palace.
The rest of the so far 10 pages thread, is about which pub is open, and wheater they will be allowed to enter in their ugly outfits.

Not sure we are going to see a continuation of the excellent performance against Arsenal. With the very upsetting events during the international break, I think we could see a bit of an emotional hangover from events. It will be a test for Spurs to stay focused.

Can't see it going either way

"Boris Johnson said we have been an "Integral part of delivering massive social and economic legacy from the Olympic and Paralympic games in East London".

In other words they lacked the sense to do the most rational, reasonable and tax effective thing and knock it down to build a new one in it's place therefore saving the committee a great deal of embarrassment.

Baroness Brady at her finest. Votes in favour of tax credit cuts that will hit the country's poorest but more than happy to accept a stadium subsidised by the public purse. The Sun really is the most appropriate place for her facile bullish1t.

A deluded lot that is. I sure hope we're as "average" as we have been so far this season. That'll guarantee a 4-0 thumping.

Wimmer? Gutter boy you're bonkers :)

Obviously the same team as Arsenal with a replacement for Lamela. You'd have to be crazy not to use song. I fear mason.... I fear he'll play mason, he'll give the ball away all the time, we lose no my hatred for him will just grow me grow. We need son in this team!

Lloris

Walker Alderweireld Verts Rose

Dier Dembele

Son Alli Eriksen

Kane
This game isn't the banker it used to be for us, but I would still see it as two points dropped if we don't win. I'm worried about us defending against Carroll and balls in the box. I grew up not caring about West Ham, then I started to see how much they hate us. Given how we have not one but two other teams who are historically bigger rivals to us than them I don't view this match as importantly as their fans do but I don't like them and always enjoy beating them.

2-1 Spurs

Both teams missing their top player from this season. Difference is that we have a squad of PL quality players to replace him with, I don't recognise the names of more than about 4 or 5 of their first team.

Still, it is their cup final again so they'll be scrappy little buggers

He's been far, far improved, but I wouldn't say Lamela has been our "top player". I would put Kane above him even considering his slump (he was still playing well just not scoring) and I'd even put Dier and Alli above Lamela.

--------------Lloris

Walker--Wimmer--Verts---Davies

--------Dier---Mason

Lamela----Eriksen---Son

-----------Kane

A few changes for this one for me:

- Wimmer and Davies over Verts and Rose to equip us better for the aerial threat

- Alli rested

- Son over Dembele to give us more penetration against a team were are expected to beat

Mason instead of Alli? Are you for real GB? No Alderweireld?
