Townsend has been appalling today - dribbling without releasing, greedy shooting. Imagine how much better we would have been if Lamela had taken is EL form into this game.
 
Really really hope he scores (twice) but I'll be very interested to see how many times Defoe actually touches the ball (through no real fault of his own).
 
Defoe coming on has been a waste of time, successive managers seem to think chucking him on is the solution.

I am starting to think that most football managers are a bunch of f**ing chancers, seriously. you get more sensible team selections on this forum than from the people in charge.
