Like the last game - we didn't take advantage of the sun enough and then had it in our eyes the second half. Hope Brad has a cap!
 
Half time.. Defence doing alright, but they're being massively let down by the two midfielders.


Going forwards a bit different, siggy missing, Eriksen getting involved but not yet pulling strings, Townsend looks bright and most likely to make something happen, soldado looks good at set pieces, but a little flat footed during open play.


Still in with the chance to win it, just need a decent half time talk. Fortunately we're often better in the second half.

Get Dembele and Siggy off, get Lamela and Sandro on. I'm beginning to get really exasperated with AVB and his football, his system is far to rigid and whenever it doesn't work we never adapt.
 
We need proper changes at half-time, none of this "give it 20 minutes" rubbish. Dembele, Sig off. Sandro, Lamela on. Townsend to the left-side, Lamela right. If still no good, sub Paulinho for Holtby.

Personally i was hoping we will click at some point but i actually believe that this is it. Now i know why Chelsea fans got ****ed off with AVB.

I'm not surprised theres no boos. Can anyone be bothered anymore? Its just too turgid and boring to even get upset about.

Its just nothing, absolutely nothing. That has to drain away the emotion from the poor sods who have forked out to watch this trash.
 
£30M for Clyne and Shaw please. I'm pretty sure any other right back would have atleast a couple of assists so far if they had the space and got the ball in the positions Walker does.
 
Not looking good at the moment. Fuk this crap formation really frustrating, Townsend is average lets admit it. AVB starting to annoy me. ****ed off.
 
On the plus side we had a few shots -possibly more than usual.
On the minus side our link up play going forward is like a bunch of strangers would produce. I want AVB to pick a #10 for example and stick with them so Soldado has some hope of forming a partnership.
We also look very open to the counter attack.

Starting to dread to watch Spurs' matches. When was the last time Spurs has a one-on-one chance against keeper in league game?
 
Dembele and Paulie unacceptable...both off holtby and sig cm townsend left lamela right ffs...

we are in a world of p.o.o with manc games on the horizon......cant forgive paulie bottling that 50-50 tackle and dembele is all ove the shop
 
It's not happening for Spurs at the moment, despite having the lion's share of possession (65%) and greater chances (14 to 8).

I think AVB should think about playing Defoe as an extra striker.
