A thoroughly poor first half from Spurs. No attacking fluency at all. A lot of possession but no thrust like an impotent wealthy Nigerian politician.

Started well first 10-15 minutes, but been terrible last 30 minutes, giving the ball away to easy, playing to narrow, to predictive. Would switch Eriksen for Son and Winks for Ali.
 
Son and N'Koudou on for Eriksen and Winks at half-time. Switch to a 4-4-2 (or 4-4-1-1 with Harry going deeper) with Son and N'Koudou on the flanks. If West Ham want to play a long diagonal to Antonio all game, so be it - we'll play wingers and exploit the gaps they leave. Stretch the game, in other words.
 
H-T 0-1. We have been clueless. Spam have our number. They are treating it like a derby, we aren't. We look like a side really low on confidence, which isn't surprising given our recent form. Where has the pressing and energy gone?. We need Alli on to provide some quality.
 
Need Son on now, don't need 3 DMs, take off Wanyama, he has been poor. Winks has been the best but he may be sacrificed as we will need Dembele and Wanyama to defend corners. Only have to mark Kouyate and Antonio but we are struggling.
Then need Alli, leave one sub for injuries.

Sometimes you feel, a bit like Venables, Poch tries to be too clever by half.
What is this wingless wonders policy? Not a winger even on the bench and yet
We have young kids expected to change games?
 
We are not getting enough bodies with the desire to attack. There is no speed, no guile and no craft. Eriksen has broken down and has made very poor simple passes. Kane and Janssen - BLEHHH!! Son and Alli to come on.
 
We are continuing this fine run.

We look toothless - Kane is not properly fit.

Eriksen is looking OK - who's going to score?

Winks is excellent again!
We look like we only know one way to play. Trouble is everybody knows it.

How many chances did we create in that good 10-15 mins? If you don't create anything, its not really that good.

I'd take Dembele and Janssen off, bring on Alli and Son. Get back to the 4-2-3-1 formation which worked for us last year

GKN isn't on the bench and Winks has been out best player
 
I don't think there is much wrong tactically, the players are just not performing, they all need a rocket up the fudging arse.

Eriksens passing and set pieces have been awful, Dembele hasn't run at anyone, Wanyama has been outmuscled, Walker isn't getting up the pitch quick enough, both cb's are getting beaten in the air, Kane isn't pressing.

It's dogbrick all round.

Dembele is surrounded by a net of 3 or 4 players. They of course watched him vs the Scum and are ready for him. 3 things we need:

1. Faster passing around the back.
2. More width.
3. Playing the same side twice - the team that played arse.

Dembele could dominate one of the wings, drifting out from a wide CM slot.The forwards need to run the channels.

Not much wrong tactically? We have 3 CMs none of whom support the CFs, and two CFs who are just standing up top next to their CBs. We don't need three players standing in CM and need to make it harder for them to defend against us
 
It isnt the end of the season already is it? If this run continues - Poch's seat is gonna get uncomfortable.
