Our forwards just aren’t good enough despite what some on here believe. Not good enough to challenge for the league anyway. If it’s top 6 you’re after then fine.

levy, webb, lange and paratici have lots of big decisions if we want to consistently play in europe.
can't imagine if we had like 8-10 more games next season with the currrent injury record.
 
It was not a great game but once The formation changed with Scarlett up front and Micky at LB we looked much better. Son came alive on the left flank, we had a lot more fluidity
 
Today may have been my last match of the season. I will only go on Tuesday if the Goons drop points tomorrow

I think getting Sonny left and Johnno right was big, Scarlett in too of course as he at least knows the position, BUT for me, Porro hugging the touchline and Deki playing inside was so so important. Made great use of Porro's super right-foot, made good use of Deki's 'closer to creative areas' brain.

Loved the sub which saw Dragusin on and VdV in that attacking FB role, but would much rather keep it as an option than a starting line-up shift. We have limited creative options off the bench so this is a great way to switch it up IMO.

In fairness, VdV was at that point playing in the Udogie slot which asks that sort of action from him...but yes, I agree the forward line was again imbalanced for some time and missed some sitters. I was actually more annoyed first-half at our inability to execute really simple passes which would've given us great opportunities.

Imagine rotating the squad only for Scarlett to then go and score the winner with his first ever competitive Spurs goal since making his debut over 3 or so years ago, Yet effectively helping Arse win the league lol

To be fair I don’t think I’ve seen anyone say our forwards are good enough to challenge for the league title. Unless I’ve missed it of course! This season was all about getting back into Europe.

I think if Richarlison had stayed fit, we'd have seen Sonny hitting 25 and Richy 20. Liverpool have great options, the goons about the same as ours IMO. I think Richy is better than Jesus, I think Sonny is absolutely as good as Saka (the latter has been in good form in one position, the former flogged and playing at least two positions this season). I do think we need an elite CF option, but personally I think it should be keeping Richy if we can, not replacing...
