*** Tottenham Hotspur v Nottingham Forest ***

Idiotic crowd imo. Silent until half time when they decide to boo again because we all know that helps. I don't understand the mentality of it. Its a nothing game where we have made lots of changes. And we are playing quite well.
I didn't boo but being in the stadium like I have all season there's nothing to feed off. If you were here you would hear that the crowd are getting behind Tel and Odobert in particular as they're affecting the game positively.

Outside of that it's April, we're 16th and I'm fudging tired of it. Been working, kids, trains are brick, will get home late, need to eat, work tomorrow. People have the right to be tinkled. That's the mentality. And again this is what happens when football is made into a product and fans into customers and consumers.

Give us something apart from two kids trying to carry a team. Set us up in a way to maximize the talents and the fans will respond.

We're all fudging tired.

That’s a good overall performance in my book - just let down by a deflection and one poor defensive moment, and our lack of finishing.
Sorry mate I'm not sure I agree. We leak goals and lack a clinical finish up front. We are creating chances through two wingers playing well and putting in some useful balls into the box . I am not seeing good build up play apart from that.

*Sigh* it's not the fans who decide who should be appointed and who is sacked. The board decided. I can't confirm about the list of managers but at the first sign of things going wrong with Nuno the board did not support him. So the list theory is perfectly plausible. The sacking of Nuno is on DL and the Board. As is the appointment of Ange.
Nunos position was totally undermined. Fans booing and no support from them made it untenable.

@SpurMeUp is correct, I was there, the crowd went toxic on Nuno, was booing his subs, usual "you don't know what you are doing"

Was more the fact that we went for about 20 other managers who turned us down. That frustration was partly aimed at the board for the farcical managerial search that ended with us hiring Nuno.

Let me fix that -> it was reported that we went for 20 other managers

Again, I even remember this board, no one saw the logic at the time of hiring a non-toxic manager who had manager to get Wolves to European positions, to get Spurs 1 or 2 spots higher ..

Nah. They are saving themselves
They are all playing within and going through the numbers
Seen it so many times when players aged cup games and nothing else they perceive as counting
Then play the kids
When you defenders decide to stop doing the most basic things it’s gonna happen.
It’s basically the opposite of what they did Thursday…. Who would have thought it
Its how they are set up, all in a line - free man at the back again, it happens to much for it not to be what they are asked to do

get off here and do your teamtalk Ange.
Either that or his expectations and standards have dropped so low that this now classifies as a good performance. I kind of agree we haven't been the completely abject unit we have been at times this season but seriously this is not a "good" performance.

We are lacking passers in cm to work the ball forward.

Odobert, Tel and Spence (Porro as well maybe?) have done well once we get it to them. But noone else is stepping up at all.

If only he cupped the crowd, would have been seen as a right character

Tottenham shoot themselves in the foot again.

As soon as Pedro Porro gets the first touch on the cross Dejan Kulusevski is already off running and thinking about a counter attack.

You can't think that. The edge of the box is where the danger is. Do your job first and then think about going forward.

That just sums Tottenham up under this manager.

I cant stand Jamie Carragher but he is spot on with that

It’s a weak performance because no one wants to be here
The fans don’t judging by the turn out
The players only care about the Bodo game

99% of our problems come from that mindset

It’s like kids football, everyone wanting to bomb forward so they can score a goal

Well we deserve to be drawing or winning based on chances created IMO, which to me is a good performance against a top 5 team.
