After last night's fantastic Saudi Sportswashing Machine win I can't wait all week for the OMT so here we go...

Sunday 22 May , ko at 4pm away at Norwich - which is good for me but more of that later.

The rewards, as we all know, for not losing this game are huge - Champions league football next year, Conte staying, Kane staying and lots of money for Conte to build a title chasing squad... It's making my hands sweat just thinking about it...

I now live in Norfolk and will go into Norwich with 'er indoors and my son and his wife to join the pre-match Tottenham party... Can anyone please tell me what pubs Spurs fans will use?

Hopefully the ridiculous idea that what ever gets posted on here can effect the results of our games will one day pass peacefully away. Our hopes and dreams are in the hands of the team, they just need to have more faith in themselves than many on here. I dont care about all the "we've blown it before" crap. I've been supporting this team for 65 years and my thoughts and actions have never effected the result of any game.

This made me laugh out loud - a very rational statement and sentiment - speaking to the most irrational people in the world...football fans...and probably even more irrational, spurs fans.

The amazing thing about football, is that we invest so much emotionally into something that we have absolutely no control over.

I had started betting on Arsenal games to jinx them this year (unfortunately/fortunately) have accumulated 200 quid in my betting account.

Alternatively can't we simply have a bit of light relief by slating an OMT attempt or by following a board or individual tradition/superstition so as not to otherwise tempt fate, or by willing the best whilst expecting the worst? Does it have any impact on the team on the pitch on the day? Well, with so much riding on Sunday I am not going to anger the OMT Ghods by suggesting otherwise..... We each do whatever we need to do, and we each know whether in reality it makes any difference.

My record this season has been phenomenal though
 
As the instigator of this match thread I realise I risk the wrath the OMT gods by putting it on so early....

However, to compensate and to try and calm them I will wear the same underpants i was wearing to watch the Saudi Sportswashing Machine game for the rest of the week....

My wife/daughter may not be too pleased... But then again I suppose she will...
