****Tottenham Hotspur v BVB********* OMT Official

I was at that game, I was so worried about Aubameyang, but he was anonymous and we smashed them.

I was there also, as had a season ticket back then.

Who’d have thought that the painful rebuild would be so incompetently undertaken that it should result in our new state-of-the-art stadium becoming such a toxic place and I now long for the glory days of being a tenant at Wembley singing “Mauricio Pochettino, he’s magic you know!!” whilst watching Sonny and Kane tear apart all comers whilst our Dutch trio made sure their goalscoring exploits weren’t in vain 🇳🇱💪🥅⚽🤩

I won't watch. I just can't take another limp performance and a loss. If it's the usual Spurs of this season turning up, Dortmund will obliterate us!
Long gone are the days when we would just casually beat this lot 3-0.
Good luck to those who will actually suffer through watching it!

16 first team players unavailable tomorrow. Williams-Barnet might get some game time as a sub. We're definitly the underdogs! But you never know. Can Solanke pull a rabit out a hat? Or just bundle the ball into the net. Could Bergvall have one of his inspired games? Could Muani come good on all that promise? Odobert has been playing quite well, and we have Xavi who has all that skill but not the physique. He needs more protection from refs.

It might be maddening, but it won't be boring!

Piqued my interest. In the league, they have had an 8-1, 5-1, 5-0, 4-0, 6-2, 3-0, 3-0, 3-0, 4-0, 4-1, 5-0, 6-0

+51 GD in just 12 games or +3 of more goals wins. +6 GD in the other 6 games.

Incredible, especially as they've only conceded 14.
So we are DEFINITELY winning then if we face them.

We can't defend or score.....try and have fun for those who are going and watching!!

I do like your optimism

Am I being unreasonable in asking why the fudge are we letting Simons play 'in full pain'? This game isn't that important, we lose and we are still likely going to qualify.

I'd suggest the game at Burnley is of far more importance and if he's in pain would rather wrap him up in cotton wool and be in a better condition for the league game at the weekend....
Agreed. Similar concern about Solanke and swapping him in for Tel. Solanke will be really important to us and could be a really good addition to this match. But with very few options available will we be able to keep integrating him carefully in a game like this. Some big gambles to take.

Be nice if the players could pull their finger out and score a goal early so the clams in the seats have nothing to moan about.
We have also gotten the first goal in games. Like against Bournemouth and Sunderland more recently.

Obviously scoring first in this game would be good. But the moaning isn't a result of the players not getting their fingers out and scoring.

"Anything" can happen in a single game of football. Being the underdogs should suit us. Maybe we can see a throwback to last season in the EL with a backs to the wall performance.

Curious to see how the players respond. Certainly a feeling amongst many of us fans that Frank is a dead man walking. Do the players see it the same way? How do they respond to that and if the atmosphere is hostile. Test of character in a way.

Tottenham predicted XI: Vicario, Porro, Danso, Romero Spence; Gray, Bergvall, Xavi; Odobert, Solanke, Kolo Muani

Evening Standard saying these are available, so guess that's the team, plus a youthful bench.
