Nah. He's offside more than Defoe was at his worst, and miss at least 2 sitters every game. He's actually one of the weakest links in that team. Every Glimt fan wants an upgrade on him.

To be honest, I was looking forward to seeing Bergvall start in his proper position. He is just so good there, a proper energetic midfielder that moves the ball.

I said before the game it looked at interesting midfield 5, and they were brilliant
Been looking forward to that all season really. He will be a bit error prone there and obviously some defensive weaknesses. But he showed last season how that role suits him much better and he tends to calm down a bit when he gets involved more and doesn't always do the high risk thing.

You were spookily close here!

Werner ran his nuts off constantly, not a fair comparison.

True, Werner was very much the Tel of his time. Hopefully Mathys will develop into a better finisher in time 🤞

Oh dear, the Danish Darren Bent then!

Was Dom limping heading off the pitch?..
Dom was clearly a bit sore as he went off the pitch after his interview, but that is entirely expected i.e. he hasn't played 60 minutes for a billion weeks, he has that "sore ankle thingy" going on, and he sat down in the cold for 40 minutes... so of course he is gonna limp a bit.

Just like me, I am absolutely fine to go for a 2 hour walk... then I sit down for 40 minutes and when I get up I'm limping like a 90 year old.

Slightly more concerned in the second half, looked like a team with nothing to fear or lose in the first, back to more of old "let's be careful" in second.

Could be my prejudice kicking in, not recognizing a managed game. Also, nothing happens in a vacuum, Dortmund being a man down and two goals under of course changes their gameplan and mental state, they probably came in with a feeling that this would be a walkover after how it has been over the last weeks, while we came with a "nothing to lose here, let's fudging show them!"-mentality. That flipped 180 at half time.

But, there were so many, many positive signs in todays game, even harbingers possibly. Stats and graphs are nearly as frowned upon by some fans as words like "science" and "medical research" is among antivaxxers, but I for one am looking forward to peruse over the passing statistics from the first half in particular. I think I can safely bet my left, slightly lower testicle against a penny that we had far more progressive passes, in far more forward positions than we have had in a long time.

Right chuffed with that result, and going to bed with a smile on my face.

I was just looking at the 3 teams gearing up to overtake us tomorrow night Atletico Madrid, Atalanta, Liverpool.

They have to play Galatasary away, Athletic Club, Marseille away, not easy.

I need TP for my bunghole, something worth watching tomorrow
