My stream was killed right then, but was there not a penalty when Bergwijn had his chance. A Burnley defender made a mistake, the ball just bounced off of him and our player recovered it. That Burnley defender tried to get the ball and fouled our player, then the ball went on and Bergwijn shot at the keeper. Anyone payed attention to that exact thing?

We had Moura taking up the space Kane and son would be in and he just gets in the way

they'd done fudge all with the space before he came on to be fair

We were going well 2nd half and should have been ahead. 2 players then sold themselves leading to the free kick that they scored from. After that you knew it would be hard.

It's no great surprise though, our best performances come against teams who attack us and leave space in the middle and Burnley were never gonna do that.

To be fair Burnley attacked us in the first half.

For all of the criticism Royal gets, some of which is fair, we get worse when we take him off.

I’m not sure we can win it but I do believe we’re better out of Europe for a year. We have nowhere near the squad depth needed and Conte needs time on the training ground. We’re better nowhere near the EL or ECL.

Grow up, mate. People are allowed to be happy and then sad again, and the reality doesn't change in between the two - it is what it is.

In fact, you'd probably be a lot less angry yourself if you accepted what I have - things don't change because we put band-aids over massive holes in the side. It makes the defeats less painful, the victories less frenzied. A bit, anyway. Try it, see how you feel.

Sessengon put in 3 or so excellent crosses. How many did Royal put in? Sessengon defended okay and gave away one free kick. Berg comes on fresh, misses a sitter and can’t control anything!

In tough conditions Sessengon played fine. Better off looking at the other 2 mentioned if you want a whipping horse

No Dier is Dier. Sess is Sess and Bergwjin and Royal are far more deserving of your frustration. How can you not criticise Berg after missing the corner of the net from 5 yards, then faffing an easy trap in the box? Sess actually played an ok game putting in about 3 good crosses, that should have been attacked. He also defended okay, granted the foul on Lennon was naive. But you have Lloris not punching a ball 4 yards out and Romero not holding off his man as well. But you want a player to blame and you’d made your mind up before the game

In his pomp - Hah! at 17! - everything he did just looks so natural and instinctive. Now? Like he's trying to force something that isn't there.

I didn't gate this performance but I didn't like it either. Very once paced and predictable. A 0-0 draw was probably the fairest result but alas we conceded from a set piece.

A bit of a concerning performance really, no zip and Reggie apart that was our strongest 11. Think we might need to change the shape a bit and get Kulu in the middle but I'm not sure if that's even the answer. Can't say that I can see what the answer is...[emoji2379]

I've had Trapiche. Not bad at that price. Go to varietals these days are reds out of Mencia/Bierzo in norvern Spain, reds out of the Corbieres region just norf of Marseille and roses and rieslings from the Niagara Region here in Her Majesty's Timbered Dominion.
