I can understand monitoring his injury, but not having him the bench in case of emergency is very odd.
We seem to be in a situation where our players don't play even when they can do a little bit.
Bissouma is third choice CB option today. Or maybe Spence

You'd think he'd be on the bench in case we have a crisis today but the thinking is...leave him completely out so even if we have a crisis today...it avoids VDV coming on and something happening to him will spill the crisis into Thursday.

CB an issue - and we sign a CB instantly to be fair to the club. But too late for today. At least Gfay and Davies are agile. But might be lacking power on set pieces.
Moore shouldn’t be starting PL games really. That he is is a treat. But with this patched side we can’t expect a win. A draw would be fine.
Great to have a full strength midfield back after months of a weakened midfield.
