Tottenham Hotspur V Aston Villa

Thought that or Porro, just think he's running on empty like Kulu. I'm pretty much done with Biss, can be a 9/10 player on occasions but more often only 5 or 6/10 and a liability. Would have put Son on the bench too but we don't have much of an option.

Wasn't that why Porro started on the bench on Thursday though? I assume the intent was to start him in this one. This team probably has the best chance of winning this fixture.

Kinsky
Gray, Danso, Davies
Spence, Biss, Bents, Reggie
Bergval, Kulu
Tel

Hold Porro, Sarr, Son, Moore and Scarlett back for the later stages of the game. This team has spine strength, balance and width.

Zero chance of Ange doing this.

Dane is cup-tied and zero chance Ange will do this like you say, just as he won't do my line-up.
As for 'spine', I don't think Biss can be included if you need strength in the middle. He flatters to deceive so I do get your thinking.

True, but Sarr has gone all lone wolf at the moment. I don't trust him to be in that spine when he is required. I think you have to continue with the double pivot of Biss / Bents and hope for a Brentford performance from the pair of them.

As you say, won't happen though. The thought of Ange holding Sonny back on the bench is unthinkable.

See that the last time Villa knocked us out of the FA Cup was in 1992… when we were 15th in the PL and reached the semi-final stage of League Cup…

We were sitting 13th in the table, and had also lost 13 in the league, coincidentally. Our form was quite similar too -- we'd only taken 2 points from the previous 6 games.
Peter Shreeves was sacked at the end of the season after we finished 15th....

Whilst I agree this doesn't help or injuries.

Ange didn't like having 1 game a week last season and wanted more games. With less games our form still tailed off.
We got more games, wasn't the best at rotating and now where are where we are.

If he Is still here next season. He won't have to worry about Europe
Not just this, successful clubs play a lot of games that’s how it is.

I feel either we will win comfortably or we will be destroyed comfortably

If we lose today I cannot see Ange staying.

I think any Spurs fan would have to question either Levy or Ange. Or both

But you cannot accept both simultaneously
