Tottenham Hotspur V Aston Villa

Results are pretty much irrelevant at this point. Nothing will happen until the end of the season and it's highly unlikely we will win anything. Avoiding even more injuries and being able to maintain some sort of tactical shape throughout the match would be nice.
 
Its so brick watching us do the same brick every week snd make the same mistakes every week. Move into space and pass the ball accurately, its literally not hard to do.

Football is an easy game, its the way you play it that determines how easy or difficult it is.

Interesting side discussion on the View From the Lane podcast yesterday. They were discussing the Liverpool team and our team from the Champions League final, and looking at how well Liverpool have built on what they had while we have significantly regressed.

I can honestly say that I’ve never watched a player’s YouTube highlights reel. I’m pretty sure that if someone had been filming me playing schoolboy and parks football in the late 80s/early 90s they could have edited the footage in such a way that it could have garnered some interest from a couple of big European clubs. And I was s hite.

We played on Thursday and barely 2 days rest, we head out again with the squad. Hopefully the boys were able to rest. I can't wait till we get first choice players back. At the end of the day, my prayers are that we beat Villa. They have strengthened well during Jan.

8 days off after losing to Wolves 2-0.......12 miles down the road and in the relegation zone.

I'm expecting Emery to use that to his advantage. They'll be fresh.
