Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal OMT

Not a disaster though, they look just as brick defensively as we have been so far, we just need to get at them more. Just get to ht at 2-2.
 
We weren't playing well but had got it to 2-0 ... so we should have changed things at that moment to change the game, as despite the scoreline it was not looking good.

I thought the Arse deserved a goal though, they have had some good efforts and we got two fairly fortunate goals - deserved, but with a slice of fortune.



Second half it has to be Bale - Ade - Lennon up top in a 433 or 451 when defending

This is due to us playing 4-4-2. All the people who were clamouring for it because its "four four farkin' two", "lets Farkin' get at 'em". You will not win games by conceding possession.
 
Clearly 4-4-2 isnt working very well. We were pretty poor apart from the goals, while Arsenal were even worse for the first twenty minutes or so. When they started playing better, we couldnt keep up. We need to man up the midfield more, keep calm and get our passing game going.

I think 442 only works when you got Lennon and Bale. Krunchie has done jack brick which has exposed Walker. Bale hasnt protect BAE enough

Id stick with 442 but get Lennon on and tell Bale to stick left. I would put VDV on in place of Saha in 10 mins second half
 
Disappointing first half performance from us, lucky deflection and a dubious penalty aside. Hopefully Harry can sort it out at half time...
 
We had it coming with that starting line-up. We were two goals up because Arsenal can't defend and we have some incredibly talented individuals in the team. Lennon and VdV on as soon as possible please, if they're fit enough to be on the bench they should be able to play 45 minutes of football.
 
Well City blew a two goal lead against us and came back to win (albeit luckily) so can we do the same ? The momentum is with them so we need to nulify it with Lennon and VDV on.

442 got us 2-0 lead. 442 did not lose us that 2 goal lead. It was simply brick defending. A right back should not be getting in the box for a header unmarked and RVP - You dont allow him to go left

we have been playing with 2 in midfield
Krankjar is absent and Parker is playing behind what we have

Walker is pushing up and Kaboul is being pulled across to fill in

we are losing our shape, and it all stems from Krankjar


Sagna's goal was fair and pretty unstoppable - but Benny - why did you gift the ball to VDV, when you didn't need to?

For the first 25 mins, we were 54% posession to their 46%. Then we sat back.
