Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Re: Northumberland Development Project

Christ, I detest all these fuсking manicured lawns that look like someone's been round them twice with a miniature pair of scissors and a fuсking toenail clipper. They've tried to do the same up Ally Pally. Ugliness, ugliness.

Re: Northumberland Development Project

I dont get it. All the posters around the ground talk about the regeneration. You have pictures of Aaron and Dawson in front of the UTC bit and the sainsburys is up and running. But we are still hearing nothing at all about the stadium development. Since we went private the news we get is minimal and its bloody annoying.

Until we get this stadium and increase our income from the capacity we will be always in catch up mode and losing our best players.

Is that bottom pic showing work on the proposed raised walkway which will be between the college and the new North stand?

Looks like they went for a combo of the two.

Re: Northumberland Development Project

Not to keen on the bald lady with her back to us, but the lady in front with the blond hair and tie looks tasty.

Re: Northumberland Development Project

The project that never wants to end, I hate this thread and every other one related to it :(

To be fair that College looks the bollox, a lot better than the crumbling Sixth Form that I went to.

Re: Northumberland Development Project

Lennon and Dawson aren't on England duty. It's hands on spades for every man to make the project viable.

Re: Northumberland Development Project

The other one with a slightly different exterior has a bridge to the stadium.

Looks like they've gone with the plainer exterior and no gangway version.

PS: the 2nd photo in your post #979 on the previous page is not embedding...

Okay so let's get this straight: you hate it so much you cannot bear to keep away? ;)

Something like that

There's one thing that people haven't covered on this thread so far, what European rivals are doing to bump up their revenues in light of the PL's vast revenues.

AS Roma will unveil plans for a new stadium on 26th March. Whilst some will say that this irrelevant I beg to differ, last summer Roma bought Kevin Strootman, the kinda player we'd go for. What I'm saying is we're only looking at our PL rivals during discussing transfer matters and forgetting the clubs on the mainland which could match us in the transfer market.

From Skyscrarapercity.com, Palotta is the American President of AS Roma.

Sky Italia:

“The stadium will be presented March 26th, by Pallotta, that’s for sure. The location is not yet known. Investment is huge, we’re talking about €1 billion, money that will be entirely funded through private partners found by Pallotta. The operation will be coordinated by a large American bank. The stadium will be one without precedent in Europe, it will work throughout the year, there will not be only football matches held there but also other events. You’ll be able to buy a subcription, including the right to have a seat. There will be areas with very high amounts of luxury, addressed mainly to companies. There will be a hotel, a railway with a stop stage. The official figures will arrive to Nike soon, who is the official sponsor. We’re talking about an annual revenue with no comparison in Italy. Nike will bring a lot of money for 10 years. From 26 March, they will start the whole process of running the site. I’m not saying that there are problems with the project, but we’re almost there. For Pallotta, Feng is not a viable investor.”

If the rumours of a re-design are true then I don't think it's just problems with finding a name rights deal, I think there's a few sappearing on the continent of which we may not be able to match with the current design, regardless of TV rights deals. Although looking at how things have gone far that could the tip of the iceberg.

All wild stabs in the dark of course but that's all we're left atm.

Re: Northumberland Development Project

Screw the college, I want to start seeing a massive hold being dug next door for the foundations to go down for the bit that everyone actually cares about!
