Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Some snippets of stadium related ITK picked up from spurscommunity, via Hertyid on COYS:

Paxton will be coming down mid-season. That's why ST renewals not happened yet. Announcement coming in the next fortnight.

Wembley is almost done. They can host all our games in 17/18 so long as they shut top tier and have max capacity 50k.

Every club is going through the West Ham deal with their lawyers but unlikely anything comes of it.

Nike deal is done. (I don't know whether that refers to kit or stadium or both)

Less boxes in the new WHL, all the emphasis is on corporate areas. Aka Club Level. We sent our commercial dept to the Allianz for a fact finding mission and we are using this as a base for a lot of the new stadium ideas.

Could be a sad day next Sunday, last ever time in Block 56?

Considering in the same post it said we're signing O Dembele (who is just about to be announced as a Dortmund player), you'd have to question the validity of the rest.

OFFICIAL, the Lane will be reduced by 4000 seats for next season and UCL games will be played else where.

Copied from SC.

Firstly, we should like to thank all our fans for their patience in the past few weeks concerning the delayed renewal process. We have been involved in discussions with the stadium contractors regarding the build programme and any impact this may have on the current stadium and our ability to stage Champions League fixtures. Considerable works are planned for the close season in order that we maintain our target of opening in time for the start of 2018/19 season.

A number of options are still being considered in terms of bringing certain elements of the build forward, in particular the North East corner.

At some stage, there will be a requirement for works to take place in this corner of the current stadium due to the need to install one of the six vertical concrete cores necessary to stabilise the new stadium structure. This core is the only one that sits inside the footprint of the current stadium. During the close season preparatory works will be undertaken on this area of the stadium.

In order to retain flexibility for these future works therefore, we shall not be selling Season Tickets in the North East corner for next season.
Around 1800 Season Ticket holders will be affected by this and all these fans will be contacted directly by the Ticket Office once alternative seats have been allocated in the next 10 days.
The areas of the stadium that are affected by this are all seats within Blocks 24, 56, A and B and some seats in Blocks 23, 55 and C. No Season Ticket holder will be required to pay more for their relocated seat than the price paid for their current seat and any concessions that are applicable will remain in place.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and every effort will be made, where possible, to ensure that those relocated will be moved to equivalent seats and sat alongside the same set of supporters.

Given the need to relocate this section of our fans, current Season Ticket holders in all other areas of the stadium are advised that we shall not, unfortunately, be able to accept any applications for seat relocations to alternative areas of the stadium during this year’s renewals period.
The impact of any works that might be undertaken in the North East corner would result in a reduction in seats for games next season of approximately 4,000 in total when general admission and corporate seats are included.

In order to comply with all UEFA stadium requirements for staging Champions League fixtures, we are discussing options that include the possibility of playing our European games away from White Hart Lane next season.

Please be assured that, regardless of venue, we shall continue to offer accessible pricing for cup games, including European matches and also retain our popular family ticket packages to ensure we maintain a fantastic atmosphere for cup fixtures. We shall provide further information on this as soon as confirmed.
In respect of Season Tickets and Membership - online applications will go live and renewal packs will be sent out from 31 May with a deadline of 12 June for Season Ticket renewals and a deadline of 24 June for Membership renewals.

We should like to thank all of our supporters for their understanding in relation to the above information and in respect of the building works surrounding the stadium as we approach our last home game this season.

Taking into account possible works to the North East corner, we shall be undertaking additional photography at our match on Sunday against Southampton, including 360 degree shots to ensure that we capture the bowl in its entirety. Further details about this will be sent out soon. Please wear your colours and show your support for what is sure to be a memorable occasion.

Season Ticket pricing announcement
Posted on 9 March 2016 - 10:25

Having reviewed pricing for the coming season we can announce that all season ticket prices for the season 2016/17 will be frozen. The renewal date for this will be advised shortly.

Good news.

So..... A 32,000 capacity WHL next season.
CL games at (I guess) Wembley
Confirmation of competitive ticket pricing for the Cup games (incl. Champions League).
A much better chance that next season is our last at WHL and that we will be ready with the new stadium in 2018.
Interesting stuff.

A tear in the eye. Last time in Block 56 this weekend then, end of an era.

Boy its going to be hard getting a ticket next season. 3600 less seat for home fans 400 for away fans?

All home fans I'm afraid. Total capacity remains above 30k and clubs will still be entitled to 3k.

Have already begun removing seats

why they removing those ones?

Maybe they'll demolish the whole of Paxton and put up a temporary scaffolding stand, like test cricket grounds use, for the season?

That way they can do basement/foundation work all summer, and build the temporary one for August to the shape they need to work around next season.

maybe, but that's the East Stand with the seats missing, not the Paxton, also i think they'd have made it clearer in the official statement if they was planning to knock a whole stand down
