Neither am I. I just have the general impression that delay is always part of the court process. A hearing and final decision in one step seems rare. Hopefully it will be thrown out without merit.

true but the judge is also tasked to save taxpayers money and will recommend the most efficient course of action to both sides. the recent fire - whatever the reason - just helps strengthen the case for redevelopment.

Lads - when I see photos like that it makes me think fondly of my few visits to WHL. Don't ever take for granted how lucky you are to be able to attend regularly - no matter how **** we may be.

I love the contrast from that picture, the outside façade of the Shelf side which is the best one at the ground, in terms of it being an old brick wall which is rarely seen in modern stadia then the modern bowl shape next to it.

Yes it is a good photo. The early stages of our much sort after new stadium and not in Stratford. Makes me really happy seeing it.

yes i think thats a better description. what i mean is that the judge will not pursue the matter of the end is futile for the sake of keeping to the letter of the law. especially not in a high profile case like this where the public good is concerned.

Always going to be oval. It won't have four stands mate. The reason they exist is due to the manner of football stadia being built and developed stand by stand in the old days.

Best we can hope for is an oval with a significantly different feature stand eg a kop

When i see a photo like that showing the shape of the new stadium soon to engulf the old, a part of me starts to get all sentimental. The cold reality dawns that the historic, intimate stadium I've stood and sat in for over 50 years is soon to be demolished - albeit for an urgently-needed glittering modern amphitheatre - brings a lump to the throat.

Felt exactly the same when Warrington knocked down the old Wilderspool Stadium and moved to the modern Halliwell Jones, broke my heart seeing them leave Wilderspool, but in the end, forgetting sentiment, it turned out to be the best thing they ever did

Bit like when I split up from the first wife for the slut behind the bar at the crown and anchor, did not stay with the slut for long before moving on to better things but still sad leaving the first wife behind even if with hindsight it was the best thing I ever did as she was a fcuking mental head case.

So what are you say? WHL is the "fcuking mental head case" where the crowd gets impatient and irritable, the players get nervous, and bad things happen. We will move the MK Dons slut before moving on to better things.
