Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Was quite scary that there were a decent amount of plastic geordies in the south
The fans selling them should have their ticket taken away for a few games
They need to be reported. I emailed the club about Roma fans and gave row and seat numbers. Just have to rely on them being investigated. But we have no idea how many general admission tickets are sold via official ticketing partners to overseas fans and what checks (probably none) are in place. To be clear I have no issue with anyone coming to support Spurs, regardless of where they come from.
Feels like there’s a growing tension over this.

The issue is we’re in a downward spiral as a club so everything gets picked up on
I heard a guy complain in front of me in the queue at the bar that they had ran out of the cheap beer but not the expensive stuff… typical levy
That is the level we’re at

How does an away fan get a ticket through a 'valid mechanism'?
They shouldn’t. I was thinking of, for example, Roma fans buying tickets through a valid overseas ticketing partner. But I don’t know whether they have specific seats allocated to sell or whether they get a random allocation based on what’s available. It certainly seems to happen more at European games than others.
Regardless the club and stewards need to do more to remove any obvious away fans - ie those celebrating when the away team scores or wearing colours.

He has a point about away fans. Definitely seeing more and more. You have to be a member to buy k the exchange so that should limit day trippers unless tickets are being touted. Changing QR codes next season should help with that.
On the flight over for the Liverpool game, there were a fair few Liverpool fans travelling and I can’t imagine they had away tickets. Last season, I spoke to a couple of them and they said they got tickets in the home end as it’s the only way they get to see their team.

Can be very difficult to get Liverpool tickets over here without being ripped off by the travel agents.

Yep for sure
It’s so called spurs fans being bell ends not checking who is having their tickets
I'm not sure they know who it's being sold to.

When I want tickets for an event that's not available (not just football), I buy from sites that are clearly arm's length from the ticket holders. I've bought tickets in the away ends for Southampton and Brighton reasonably often and I'm sure the seller doesn't have a clue who I am or who I support.

Your talking about buying from a company
I think these are being sold by ST holders in twitter and other places

A ST holder can transfer a match ticket to anyone with a valid CRN - anyone can sign up to get a valid CRN no matter who they support and it's free of charge.
True. Although the ST holder is responsible for the actions of the person to whom they have onpassed their ticket. So if that person is an away fan and gets reported/removed from the stadium, then there could be sanctions for the ST holder.
