Not for me. Can he drop into center back mid game which is a huge value add that Dier brings

Radiotherapy for me is not very mobile and plays in a slow league

Would need a lot of time to get up to speed

He is one of those rated IMO because he is a name and not for what he has done

I’ll be honest

I saw him play a few times and mainly highlights when we were linked with him 2 years ago

Last season I never saw him play

This season it’s been in the CL and a couple of league games and for me he doesnt excel at anything. He would be like Jordan Henderson.

* Poch normally talks openly about players who are agreeing new cont and the only talk about about Toby he says daniel has it in hand
* he is 29 now so realistically this is his last BIG contract
* since joining spurs we have had the best or 2nd best defence every season (but won’t this one whilst he has been out)
* current wages are £50/£60k a week

The rumours:
* he wants £150k a week or more
* he wasn’t a a lifetime supply of wet look hair gel
* there is a spurs love campaign from his PR team on Twitter
* every top side wants him but the only aides who need centre backs happen to be the ones not winning their leagues (other than PSG in the pub league)

It's just idle chitter chatter....as if you were down the pub with your mates. Supposition and conjecture, life's full of it.

I’m a big fan but I’m a bigger fan of what the club are doing as a project which has got us better and better year on year

All "projects" need great players to succeed. All teams that have been successful in the last 10 years have had great players; RM, Barca, Dortmund, Bayern etc. They didn't win because of a "project".

Similarly their not asking for the best in the world wages for their position

That just means we've been underpaying him based on the current market rate.
