I'm pretty sure he will be gone too. Yet somehow it doesn't stop you and others ragging on about him and his faults? If you know he's gone anyway, what difference does it make? Now, I could imagine how painful it must be after each win or point or goal it must be, but still.
The last sentence there is unnecessary. I freely cop to the first few. Of course, that boot should be tried on the other foot too, but I'll stick yo your point and your point is clear. The difference it makes to me is that this is about defining WHAT'S important. Is it just finding ways to win? Or is it about having some class, some character and some clear principles which concur with what this glorious club is all about? I was happy to be quiet until I saw stat after stat popping up and started to see people trying to shoehorn him into a position of 'genius'…well, that and 'leakgate' which I thought was about as ****ing low as it gets.
As far as Tottenham 'knowing much more about him that we do', yeah I'm sure they do. And knowing what they did, and they have known him for a long time, they appointed him. And then gave him an extension. And so I imagine your beef is more with Tottenham than it is with Sherwood. I mean, if he's as bad as you say he is, then the worse you make him out to be, the worse it makes the club look.
I wasn't delighted at the start. I've been clear about that. I gave him my support and kept quiet for some time, hoping he would learn. As did the club. indeed, did you know that until 5 weeks ago, there was still a strong chance he would retain the position? Only he started to become so rogue and so untennable that even some of the powers that be couldn't wrap their heads around it. I think everyone tried very hard with him. But somewhere the love affair ended pretty quickly. He has more than done his bit to that end. But to be clear, my 'beef' is with Sherwood for his frankly disgraceful public conduct.
By the way, this stuff about how his record and stats doesn't matter, thats rubbish. You know as well as I, that if his record and win % and goals scored were crap, then you and others would be vocal about it. Then his record would suddenly matter a whole lot.
Listen, the bloke could win the ****ing title, don't you get it? I think he is a ****, I think he is dragging our club through all sorts of mud via his own nefarious ****iness and I actually don't think he will win anything for us ever anyway, thus the first bit won't ever be a possibility. I don't want people like him running our football team. Stats or otherwise. One thing I always said about AVB (check if you want) is that even if he fails, he will have failed by trying his absolute hardest and without dragging us through the gutter of press week after week. This is about more than just 'winning'…
I'm also wondering if by dismissing records we are setting up FDB or whoever else comes in. Will the new managers record matter at all? If Timmeh is crap, how much better will the new managers record have to be or expected to be? Ten times as good? (I know, cue the 'I don't care how well the new manager does, we got rid of Timmeh and that's all that matters…".

It's a really fair point you make. IF AVB hadn't decided he'd had enough too, I would've been OK with seeing him here until the end of the season regardless. But yes, at a certain point there needs to be some patience all round. I agree with that. In return, all I would ask of any incoming manager is to get some proper media training or, better still, respect our club!
