Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Agreed. It doesn't help, and whatever flaws Frank has as a mediocre coach, he's still human. The visceral dislike for him personally that so many have saddens me, because the man himself is inoffensive almost to a fault.

There is basically nothing about him, good or bad. He's an empty tracksuit. But he gets far worse treatment than even Ange did, who cupped his ear at the fans, and basically goaded them non-stop for being unhappy we constantly lost.

I get why it happens, and I don't blame anyone - but it isn't helpful.

You say talk about a visceral dislike for him after your 10 year campaign against Levy… do me a favour.

levy would have sacked Frank in December and backed the new guy in January. If Levy was still here there is no way we would be in mist of a relegation battle.

Was he here last year when we finished 17th?

I didn't dislike Levy, the man. I did dislike Levy, the utterly mediocre chairman, and at times I let that get the better of me. I'm not proud of it, and I think I'm in a better place now.

As for what Levy would have done, no way to know that. What we do know is - he hired Frank. And Lange. So what does that say about him?

Did he hire Frank? I don’t think so, if the Nepos let him hire a manger knowing they were going to force him out in less than a couple of months (when we were actually doing alright) then we are in bigger trouble than we all think we are.

I’m glad you are in a better place… spurs though are in a much worse place.

Levy was 100% in charge of everything until the moment he was fired imo.

He did hire him mate. He had a statement on the website on it. He gave interviews about sacking Ange and hiring Frank. It was his call, as far as we know - as was hiring Lange.

Now, you could argue things went on in the backrooms and he wasn't actually in charge any more, but that's speculation.

No argument there mate.

Look at this logically of course he was going to big up the Frank hire. What’s he going to say? The Gooner VV wanted him and I had to buckle because I was under pressure.

AND if Gooner VV didn’t want Frank with the run we are in how the hell is Frank still in a job? They could have fired him blamed it on Levy.

AND AGAIN… if the Nepos let Levy hire a manager r knowing they would force him out in a couple of months, then we are in serious serious trouble

We were never in a relegation battle though. And well you know it. Glad the penny has finally dropped.

He knew that last January, no doubt, as he was all-seeing and all-knowing. 😀

The only thing that saved us last year was three worse teams being in the league. We were in PL free fall for many months. Three worse teams might be the only thing that saves us this year too - largely thanks to Mr Levy’s excellent ‘squad building’ over the last decade.

What was the points gap in Jan last year?

Did we not get in Danso and the highly rated (at the time) Tel in January?

Did we sell our top goal scorer that January as well?
