Things we hate about modern football

Unfair. As far as I understand @SpiderSpurs stopped supporting CFT when they came out with that reasoning.

Did he? I say staunch defence of it at the time, if I am wrong then I will hold my hands up for it, but I am 99.9% sure there has been promotion of the group thereafter.

Man enough to say I am wrong if thats the case

Edit: he doubled down on that statement when they became members of the FCA

Society going downhill. People getting more angry and desperate. More they don't care and lash out.
Also more people willing to report abuse and easier means for them to do it.
I don’t believe racism or sexism is worse now (amongst football crowds) than say 10, 15, 20 years ago. But when it does occur in-ground there are now more established mechanisms to report it and more sanctions. So the numbers are higher.
Online abuse is obviously a different matter and harder to deal with. Also we didn’t have online abuse 20+ years ago.

I do agree with you, i am old enough to have seen players like John Barnes have bananas thrown at him every time he got near the touch line, Its always been there and sadly always will.

Not sure I undersrand? Are you saying that people are wrong when they hear what they perceive to be racism or sexism?

People nowadays seem unable to grasp context and want to be offended. Whether intention was there to be offensive or not.

Not talking about discrimination or hate. More like people find the term oriental offensive (white people not chinese). Where it just means eastern as it derives from latin. It's no more racist than calling people westerners. Or calling someone love or darling. It"s intended as a term of effection. But people purposefully can take it the wrong way.

I did.

The 'right type of fans' doesn't sit right with me at all.

I've no idea what Grays said as I've got him on ignore, however, I believe CFT to be a bunch of tossers.

Ok then I stand corrected, I read the below wrong

That said, I think knowing this exists allows us to know why kick it out and co have such hard jobs still, much like women getting touched up at the bar or on the trains is still an issues like its the 80s and 90s and those in that mindset think thats still ok
