I got the chance to go to the training ground through work and competed in a tournament on one of the youth pitches. We got a tour after the tournament and the discipline the club had towards youth and its development is ridiculously good. The youth side of Hotspur way is built around keeping the youth motivated and can come down to the smallest detail.

Seriously, good move. He seems like an intelligent, down-to-earth chap, he's had a long and fairly successful career at the top level and it's always helpful (not strictly necessary, but helpful) for staff members to also be fans of the club.
Danke. Shame it wasn't a more permanent thing, then - but I imagine a first-team manager in between jobs like Jackett wouldn't have hung around for long if a full-time offer came his way anyway.
