The youth players/on-loan thread 2016-17

Just posted this in the KWP thread.....

I must say watching the U20's is a breath of fresh air. Not are we only physically better (fitness and strength) but technically we are better than the Italians (how many times could we say that in the past).

1-0 down they were, but never looked bothered by it.

All the boys are confident on the ball and happy receiving it in tight spaces......we're confident playing high reward passes rather than the same old playing it across the pitch stuff.

Lewis Cook of Bournemouth looks really mature at this level......Kenny,Lookman,KWP and of course Solanke look very promising (and Ojo has been terrific since he came on)

They look well coached, whether this is by Simpson or in combination with the academies they all come from im not sure. Whatever is happening, its good:)

All they need is opportunities at first team football.

Yes, but the team that played today were impressive. He may find himself benched for the final.
 
I wonder if any of Ogilvie, McGee, Miller, Amos, Loft, Harrison and Walkes etc. have made the senior squad for next season, or whether we are going to try and sell them for nominal fees?
