No matter what is being said publicly, I’ll be very surprised if RDZ is our manager on the first day of next season if (and, personally, I think it’s when) we go down.
I'd rather a Championship proven manager anyway tbh

Jeez I hope you’re right and could you send some of that optimism my way. I’ve just spent the past hour brooding over the brick performances and bizarre refereeing decisions we’ve seen since beginning of DecemberF**k it, I’ll say it now. I don’t think we are going down. Our form has to turn and it will. This team has more than enough ability to get out of the mess and we have a good manager in place to get something good out of them. These lads have what BoL described as the yips when it comes to PL wins. One good result changes that IMO.
If I’m wrong, bring me back to this post but, in my opinion, this is the bottom. The nadir of my Tottenham supporting days. We’ll look back in years to come and say “remember that week when we were in the relegation zone in April, that was scary and mad wasn’t it”.

I fudging hate Tottenham.
dont disagree with this. Up and down the league and commentators are DESPERATE to see us go down.
But it still comes down to the top of the house. As i've said time and time again, if you want to act like Brighton, charge Brighton prices. Instead we charge the second highest prices in the league and fleece the fans continously, buying children to try and finish high in the PL. Eaten alive.
Truly, they should study this in the generations to come about mismanagement and the dangers that come with it. Unfortunately we are the ones that suffer.
I’m down to having a little bit of faith in RdZ and a strong belief that the law of averages has to kick in at some point. What’s happening to us is pretty much unprecedented. It defies all logic.I hope you are right, since the Saudi Sportswashing Machine game I think we have been gone.
Even if we do run some form we are going to get fudged over by someone, this is written now, we are not going to be allowed to stay up.
Spurs and logic do not go together.I’m down to having a little bit of faith in RdZ and a strong belief that the law of averages has to kick in at some point. What’s happening to us is pretty much unprecedented. It defies all logic.
We might beat those in a game of rock, paper, scissors, but not in a game of football. We are beating Brighton, Wolves, Leeds and Everton and losing to the rest. Favourite this post.
Totally random thought/post but when I was at school (back in the dark ages) we called that “Ching Chang Chonga”. Absolutely no idea why. Is that familiar to anyone else?We might beat those in a game of rock, paper, scissors, but not in a game of football.
In an ideal world, neither should have been even close to being here!In an ideal world Lange and VV aren’t at the club past the final whistle against Everton, regardless of what league we’re in next year. Useless planks who are too scared to make a decision and come primed with excuses.
The Nepos on the other hand? The rumours of them wanting to sell will be up in the air now as the price of the club will be drastically less than it currently is if we’re relegated.
Years of downward trajectory sped up by an injury crisis with no one willing to take responsibility. Laughably bad way to run a club
If you are Emirates Marketing Project you would bake and then sell 5 million loaves to yourself at a profit. To drop on a discussion from another thread we look like a PE buyout who have put in a boardroom management team who were successful in a totally different field and expect their methods to work.
Not all business environments are the same, selling 5 million loaves of bread is not the same as running a football club.
I get it mate. It's causing me all sorts of stress and bad thoughts today after 3 weeks of relative calm.Jeez I hope you’re right and could you send some of that optimism my way. Beautiful, wasn’t it!I get it mate. It's causing me all sorts of stress and bad thoughts today after 3 weeks of relative calm.
I'm seeing an awful lot of "we're down, it's done" from fans online and in the real world. Objectively, it's a stupid opinion. We're two points from safety with 18 to play for. Far, far worse situations have been turned around with worse squads. Admittedly, the form is the strongest argument against mine but I just can't see how something doesn't break our way soon. It just has to - this is completely unprecedented.
For the people saying we're down, I think it's a rush to be proven right ("I knew it weeks ago") and a coping mechanism. However, if we want the players to have a strong mentality, we shouldn't be feeling sorry for ourselves or throwing in the towel yet. The negativity online and the negativity in the stadium feeds into the narrative that we're down.
We're still fighting for survival. We still have a good shot at it - I'm going to hope until it's mathematically impossible. Otherwise, there's no point even watching/attending the games.
The lad who sits next to me in the stadium texted me and said he never enjoyed an international break as much as this one. Think we all know what he means..Beautiful, wasn’t it!
You're right!! Ok, fudge it - I'm back in the 'we're staying up' campI get it mate. It's causing me all sorts of stress and bad thoughts today after 3 weeks of relative calm.
