The transfer thread

He's not slow, no idea why you you get that impression. His speed is one his big attributes. There's actually a video of him racing VDV for a ball. VDV got to it first but it was fairly neck and neck for a while.

I just checked and Muani's clocked fastest speed is very quick. He was clocked at 35.97kmh.

Stumbled across the video of Muani racing van de Ven.

See that he’s not got a history of hamstring injuries which is a relief.

The fact this has dragged on and utd and Juve are in for him there's no chance of us getting him. Agent probably whoring him out and we should just move onto our next target if there is one. Got no chance against those two

Those two can’t take him and be complaint with their country finance rules
Unless they do some magic before hand

Gashford is prem experienced best thing could be let them sell him to us, and they take Muani.

Or we focus on other areas. Once fit we have Son, Yang, Odebdert and Moore for that side. Id rather we buy someone like Sane for the right, or someone who can beat a left back and put a decent cross in.

Tbf they can all bar son play on either flank.

I’m not quite understanding the whole situation at Barca, they had Olmo and the other guy registered before this transfer window but now they are not registered and they are struggling to register them? On top of that they are in talks with United about the possibility of a loan move for Rashford? How would they register him if they cannot register the other players they already have?

Could just be another load of internet bs

Clumsy i can see, he's not elegant but he's sort of a bit Kuluesque in the way he often stills ends up with the ball on the other side of the challenge. It's all a bit unpredictable with him in terms of how a 1v1 will go but the I've always liked with him is he's not afraid to attack the defenders.

I do think a loan would be best as we need to evaluate how well he can perform for us and also whether he's hit a limit on his ability. I honestly can't say as I haven't watched him at PSG at all and only watched bits of him over the years, but he was always a bit of menace imo.
That bloke that went to Munich looked a bit clumsy dribbling too.

There's a wage cap. They can bring someone in, as long as they don't breach the wage cap. They can leave someone else out/sell or loan them out to bring in another guy. Olmo is on high wages, that's why they struggle to him registered. They left Christensen out of the squad in the first half of the season to be able to play Olmo.
It's a mess, but they always manage to wriggle themselves out of it.

Barca's deal to play at Montjuic runs out on April 30th, but Nou Camp won't be ready, so they might have to play on Hackney Marshes

Barca wanted to sell their imaginary future corporate boxes in their imaginary future stadium... but they sold the imaginary future boxes in their imaginary future stadium AFTER the deadline, so couldn't include those incomings in their balance sheet.

Barca signed up to Nike for the next 14 years in a £1.7bn deal

Barca have no money, yet will pull all the levers, then build new levers and pull them, then imagine levers and imagine pulling them, to stay relevant.

Wouldn't it be a shame if it all came back to bite them? It won't reader; mega huge companies always find a way, e.g. playing Musk at left back

It’s just scary how they ended up like this with all the success and fan base

Cheats!
Barcelona are over their league decided wages to turnover ratio. In the first half of the season Christensen was injured so they were able to apportion his wages towards Olmo. Now Christensen is fit and available again, they've lost the wage allocation he had. So Barca have done some deals to raise their turnover but the league are rejecting the deal as being acceptable. So essentially Barca are over the wage to revenue ratio allowed by La Liga. They have appealed a higher authority and Olmo is currently allowed to be registered until further notice.

Bring this back!

(they'd die of overwork within 48 hours)

Martin's first innovation is to be the introduction of our new 'Media Monitor' service that will comment on all national newspaper stories on a daily basis and either confirm or correct what is written. The object of the exercise is to allow our supporters to be aware of what is really happening at White Hart Lane and to not suffer from possible misreporting that has become prevalent throughout the Premiership.

I’d prefer it if he goes to juventus also

I'm with you at this point. If this deal isn't done by now, then it is becoming clear that we are trying to coerce a player to come to our club that doesn't want to, or wants too high a salary or something else. It is not feeling right.

Nowadays, players normally agree personal terms prior to the 2 clubs agreeing their terms. I've not read that personal terms with the player have been agreed yet.

Whether we like to admit it or not, THFC haven't got a fantastic attraction to these types of players yet. After a succession of managers who wouldn't give the kids a go, we've overcome that hurdle which is massive in itself. Our next step is to convince prime players that we are the club to be at. That will also happen in time.

I’ve read we have agreed terms
But it means nothing if we can’t agree terms with his club
And of course it’s about all the other things in play too
Who psg want in
Who others want to sell and trade
That’s why things happen later in these shorter window’s because clubs don’t expose everything early
