the Tim Sherwood man love thread

He is already talking about Ramsey being sacked from QPR at the end of the season and seeing if he can talk to the board to see if they can find him something to do at villa. How disrespectful to a so called "friend".

If I was that journo I would've said ''On the other hand if he asked you to join him at QPR next year would you be up for that too?'' Can you imagine what his face would look like?

And he said, come what may in May, he would be prepared to work with him again in the future – even at Villa.

Sherwood said: "Listen, I know I am biased – he has been good for me and I have been good for him. He is up there with the very best coaches I have ever seen."

"If there was ever an opportunity for me to work with him again I would do that. I would have to speak to the club about whether we could find a role for him here.”

"if there was ever an opportunity" ......i dont see anything there about Ramsey being sacked at the end of the season.

Did he not turn down such an opportunity only a few months back?

He's making the assumption that the opportunity would arise in a manner that Ramsey would need a job when Captain Bellend had one - and that Ramsey would be working for him (or his setup).

He doesnt even seem to consider the possibility that Ramsey (as talented and highly respected as he is) may wish to do CB a favour in future and give him a job.

He seems to assume to Ramsey has no interest in continuing as a manager, at QPR or elsewhere.

He's been upstaged this week though: 'We don't have enough players with male genitalia' - Carlisle manager Keith Curle

Benteke 7 goals in 5 in comparison to 2 in 16 previous. As much as everyone on here hates him, Timmy does seem to get the best from his centre forwards.

Think we should go in for him again (preferably two days before the match with Villa). He'd be a great upgrade on Ade and might even have a relegation clause in his contract we could exploit. He'd fit in well with the rest of our Dutch lads too.

We can't go for him now, or we'd never hear the end of it from Timmeh.... ''I got his mojo back'', and then when he has a bad patch it would be ''He should've stayed here where he was loved'', ''I knew how to get the best out of him'' blah blah

Yeah there is that but I'd live with it. fudge him

Not at the silly prices Villa keep quoting.

Would love to see him in a Spurs shirt.

He scored a hat trick against the worst defence in the league. If he bangs in a goal a game until the end of the season then he might be worth getting but only for £15m maximum.

I have a feeling he will go 4 or 5 games without scoring again.

Would scoring a goal a game until the end of the season make him a better player?

Surely the rest of this season will not significantly change his attributes. If anything we should go for him if he's underrated and thus cheaper and stay away if he goes on a hot run of goalscoring form.
