Good point. But to me he seemed almost relieved when Spain won.
The manager should be the one to write down Ronaldo as first penalty taker. But Ronaldo has way too much control in the team. He has his own private suite with bodyguards outside in the Portuguese hotel whilst the rest of the squad share rooms.
 
Has it backfired? If Ronaldo had taken 4th not only is it not certain he would've scored, but Alves would've had much more pressure on him and surely would've still missed. Result is the same.

You're kidding, is that a fact? Good GHod what a total joke! Where did you read/hear that? Disgraceful! Say what you like about Hodgson but that brick wouldn't fly with any coach over the age of 45...is their coach a eunuch FFS?
 
Shame it had to be rat face with a scuffer to win. Portugal played really well and and Ronaldo even though he's only played really well for 2 games has been the player of the tournament for me. Easily my favourite non spurs player.

Not just saying this cos he dominated against us, but I think Pirlo has been the best. He got an assist against Spain, a great goal against Croatia and another assist against Ireland. Plus you'd have to see his performance against England has been the best by any player so far.
