*** The official 2025/26 Premier League thread ***

Not exactly missing Frank are they. It's clear that a club with the right internal structure and environment is just as important as the manager.

Here's hoping Frank's career isn't destined to go the same way as Potter who left a well run club for apparent bigger and better things and got found out somewhat....
Blimey far too early to be saying that. He made them into an established PL team for 4 seasons. And finishing mid table not fighting relegation! Even if they finish mid table this season, they need to finish well for another 3 seasons to match what he achieved.

People were tipping them for relegation, and yes it's still early doors. They've averaged 12th in the league under Frank and would imagine they are around there yet again.

Their real strength is their recruitment operation and chairman, pretty much mirroring Brighton. And just like Brighton once Potter left they continued as they were and even improved I would anticipate the same with Brentford. This isn't a slant on Frank, it's just recognition of a well run club and Frank is one cog of that wheel....

There isn't enough evidence yet to say they are similar to Brighton, we are just about a quarter of the way through the season. It does feel like you are going early to make a point about Frank. Fair enough if that is not the case.

Not at all mate, I've made my points on Frank in his thread I don't need to do that here. Brentford are a very well run club who will continue to do well without Frank IMO that's the only point I'm making.

That doesn't change the fact Frank is a good manager regardless of how Brentford fare going forward....

Never to early to make a negative comment about Spurs

Credit Keith Andrews. They’re obviously a very well run club but no one gave him a chance at the start of the season. No experience, losing some of his better players and stepping into mightily big shoes. He’s doing very, very well.
