He dived twice against us the other week, one being successful in getting Bergvall booked. Another thing that VAR should be used for. Couple of weeks of draconian retrospective punishment for diving and it would disappear from the game. Then they could move on to those that simulate head injuries to get the game stopped…

It's quite remarkable that it's only players of the team that are hanging on the ropes that get head 'injuries' at that particular time. Never one of the attacking team.
It's almost as it is used as a free get out of jail card.

Yip. Given it’s such a squad game now I tend to agree. I think Bournemouth had 9 unavailable in the week when they got a point away at Chelsea, so you’re right, it can certainly be done.

It probably helps it’s their 22 game of the season
I think we have played 10 more games than them

That may be true
But I’m talking over the reason for course
If we have … over the last 2 months it would be the league cup games
But they went out first round to West Ham
We played cov. Then city, united and pool, plus Europe
Don’t forget im the guy who said about areola as our manager last season but we need to compare apples with apples
The nearest to us is games and timing of games is United (same competition ) and we have played 1 more game
Pool have played a game less because of the cancellation
Arsenals the only team who I think will have played as many games as us but they have only just started picking up injuries on volume (by their standards)
