The Official 2023/24 Premier League Thread

Can we just take a moment of silence to reflect than Man Utd finished the game with a CB partnership of
Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans
:eek::D:D:D:D:eek:
According to a friend who supports United, they've got 7 players out injured, which apperently showed that they've got the strongest squad in the PL.
Two of those he mentioned as injured, played today :confused::p

They look utter brick, and I'll be seriously disappointed if we don't finish above them.

Said that last season !!
They are terrible but somehow do ok

It works both ways though. They’ll never get the Ferguson years back, ever. I just don’t think they’ve realised that yet.

they will if they do things the right way, they are one of the most successful commercial machines on the planet, they can spend like city with funds they actually generate themselves

they have been run very badly for quite some time

They’ll win plenty of leagues for sure. But that level of dominance over the best part of 2 decades? Nah, I don’t see it, nor do I expect to see the likes of Fergie again in my lifetime. Obnoxious git but a genius football manager. A madman almost. Pep is clearly at the top now but I wouldn’t say he’ll last too long more.
