This is such a depressing end to the season. I need to hide for the next week.
Also, I just remembered that whilst I have a season-to-season bet with a Spam fan that we will take 6 points off them, which I've lost this year, I also had a bet with the same person a few years back that if Kane ever left, it would never be to a PL club. Think I might be losing that one as well.

No, not my husband. No football bets between us any more, we learnt that lesson many years ago. An 'equilibrium' where I usually have the upper hand works for me.

I don't know. Sounds like non league Europa might be a cup we can get to the final of (and lose bitterly against Cork City or something). But a final is a final!

Yeah, on the one side you have people who talk about winning trophies being the only thing worth anything in football, and then the only trophies worth winning, or so it seems, are the CL and the PL. No wonder a lot of people are chronically disappointed.
