The Official 2016/17 Premier League Thread

The exact reason why we were never going to catch them once they won at Everton.

In fact, the team showed characther to beat Arsenal immediately after that result which must have been a body-blow to hear about minutes before kick-off.
Said it several times already. 3 out of 4 at home was a good-enough run-in as it was, but they could have hardly hand-picked a better quarter of fixtures to finish with

They could have maybe had someone else instead of West Brom

Maybe palace or Bournemouth who are safe but not aggressive or tactically good

They have it made but it's 38 games after all

What does bug me is why we always play Arsenal second half of the season at home, Chelsea too it feels like and united

Oh indeed, they could have had an easier away fixture , but not much, WBA have been on hols since they were safe. I doubt Friday night will be anything but a title celebration. Which may be a bonus for us on the Sunday knowing we have no pressure to be chasing them, just get 2nd and then racking as many points as we can to extend our Points Tally record

Wonder if Jamie Vardy will be having a party on Friday?

Probably with hookers and coke knowing his type

Something about him that grates me

Can they beat Liverpool to 4th? Will need help from either West Ham or Middlesbrough to do it.

Yes. An Arsenal win tonight and bums may start to squeak a little on Merseyside. And Arsenal play before them at the weekend, Stoke away is usually tough for them, but I think they could come away with 3pts and put some real pressure on the Scousers before their trip to West Ham

Problem is West Ham's season is over after their cup final win last weekend and Boro are utterly pathetic.

You guys never heard of the Spammer Gooner alliance?... If The Goons get the three points on Saturday, I'm sure West Ham will be up for it Sunday.

I've also just emailed Jurgen Klopp - "No lasange, players bring their own homemade sandwiches."

Would be annoying if the Wenger somehow managed to guide his Goons to yet another CL spot!

I feel queasy already knowing that I'm going to have to force myself to support Chavski in FA Cup final just so ARSEnal don't win it a 13th sodding time, could be the 7th occasion that Wenger has got his grubby mitts upon what used to be our trophy :(

i will fudging love it if they take fourth off the dippers
Hmmm, I dislike Dippers too but for gobby Goons to miss out on CL should be the end of an era and see the departure of Sanchez; who must have backache from carrying those selfie obsessed snowflakes for 2 years now.

The Dippers still won't be guaranteed group stages even if they get fourth and their seeding should see them get a more difficult qualification draw, so lesser of 2 evils imho.

Wenger is most likely staying, thus guaranteeing that Arsenal won't improve next season. Liverpool are overspending on wages in order for the few decent players they have to stay there. We could really do without them getting an influx of cash.
