I don't watch a lot of foreign football but do listen to a few podcasts, so not my opinion but of others I respect - heard he has been really good on the left over the past couple of months and is still running his socks off.

I think as a team we are missing a Naybet / Davids player who may not be at their best but brings something to the collective.

He's no Naybet nor Davids type of player, and he doesn't work his socks off. He's more static than Peter Crouch, and I DO watch quite a bit Italian football. He's got 5 goals in 25 games. Far less than Janssen if you compare minutes played. There are FAR better options out there for that kind of money and wages! Plus he's turning 31.

Perhaps I am getting my Croatian strikers mixed up Olics with my
Mandžukić however reading up on him (wiki etc) all praising high work rate and defensive contribution which was how world football phone in (*I think) also said he was bringing to the juve team.

Think we are missing a winning mentality so if not him would want to be looking for this in the summer.
