The "Official" 2013/14 Other teams matches thread

**** looking very solid offensively, but vulnerable at the back - Liverpool close on a few occations.

Definitely title contenders though. But it´s a long season.

Gibbs is off the pitch when he feels his injury, limps back on to the field and Liverpool are supposed to stop? They did the right thing. Sagna, thick c**t.

this isnt even a very good Arsanal team, ive seen them with better players and play better football, but tonight they go 5 points clear at the top with 10 games gone

poor PL this season imo, actually the standard has been dropping year on year

Technically, the standard of football in the prem has been improving beyond scope. Faster, stronger, fitter, more tactically aware, more technical in terms of awareness of possibilities, better use of players in various formations…I'm really not sure I agree at all.

And 'this isn't a very good **** team'…come on mate. I hate them too, but this is a very strong first 11-15…when their injuries clear up, they are one striker signing away from giving the title a proper bash this season.

How on earth did Ramsey just get given a new 5yr contract? Unbelievable. #Arsenal

the spectacle is not very exciting though is it, not to me anyway

if Ars win the title then well done to them, but just because a team wins the title it doesnt mean they will go down as a great title winner, just like Man U last season who imo didnt show the overall flair and excitement of quite a few previous Man u teams who won the league.

Liking how Coutinho plays. Tidy player, always looking for that breakthrough pass. Him, Suarez and Sturridge on form will be very dangerous.

This whole injured players thing is the most annoying aspect of football. Sagna getting all worked up over it was ridiculous.

At the very least the team that had won the ball back is entitled to at least one attack. They would have it whether the injured player goes down or not, so there's no reason to kick it out immediately and it gives the injured players team an unfair advantage.

If possession then changes hands then it's a different conversation. But the idea that it would go out of play straight away is sooooo stupid.

Ah ha, fair play, it comes down to your definition of 'better' or 'worse'…in terms of raw entertainment and teams 'giving it a right old bash' I absolutely agree with you. Things have become MUCH more technical with far less gambles being taken. But I think, in that case, you're disputing the entertainment value of the Prem, because surely, in terms of technical skill, quality and energy, the Prem is only rivaled by the Bundesliga...
