Di Canio has good short-term motivational skills, but in the long run he gets on the nerves of his players. I can easily see them getting to a point where they see through his **** and no longer give a ****.
According to half this board around the time he was appointed he was gonna be a great manager.
After 5 league games? Really?
I find that hard to believe

I remember DHSF and a couple of others talking him up
Not impressed by Chelsea at all they look so toothless up front. Only 2 pieces of shambolic defending by Fulham handed this game to them. I mean for fooks sake the second goal made Mikel look good. This games sums up for me ( and I'll stick my neck on the line here), that Mourinho will not be as much of a success this time round. I mean against a poor Fulham side, at home, he plays 2 defensive midfielders and one striker who is off form? This Mata business is borderline insane. How can Shurle get in ahead of him? Abramovich looked uninterested for most of the game.
I am impressed by Chelsea. They are TOTL and they are playing not good.
They were not lucky today.
I disagree needed a poor piece of goalkeeping by Stockdale to open their scoring before that I cannot remember a meaningful shot on goal. In fact if Bent was any good should have been 1-0 down by that stage.
They won easy.

Classic Mourinho, and they are only going to grow stronger. Oscar has been bloody brilliant btw, I wouldn't play Mata there. You need more industry if you wanna win when you are playing badly. It gives you the option of dominating possession or sitting deep and countering because you have players across the midfield capable of recycling possession through pressing and intercepting.
This has not been Mata's game at Chelsea, even in two tactically quite different seasons, he was always afforded a relatively free role. Under Mourinho no one will be afforded such a luxury role. I can see where he's coming from tbh.
Against the good sides they will not win by simply dominating possession in the middle of the park imo - look how Everton played them beautifully last week and were good for their win.
