The "Official" 2013/14 Other teams matches thread

Benteke down.. Hobbles back on, then falls over within three steps.. Looks like a groin strain maybe?

Villa still go one up..

ffs. As soon as I put Benteke in my fantasy team. My team is cursed. I am trying to pick as many gooners as possible. Walcott hasn't scored yet in the league. I'm leaving him in

My TFF team curse is starting to kick in. Coutinho out in midweek, now Benteke. :-k Shall I put 11 Arsenal players in the team, also the reason I dont pick Spurs players.
Being in my team can be the kiss of death

I'm not convinced over Norwich's ability to stay up tbh, although luckily for them I think there is probably 3 or more worse teams than them in the League

They've created the better chances so far in this game, but it's goals that keep you up..

I like that bt sport have realised people want to watch football, not the guys on the bench. So they bring up a small screen in the corner to show you other things, whilst still focusing on the actual match.

Sky could learn from that. Stop ****ing giving us full screen shots of the bench whilst the game is on.

i agree, but those inset shots are awful.

they don't achieve anything and just detract the eye from the game. also, it looks very mid-2000's.

I absolutely hate a ref being in the commentator's box. Every single little incident is getting picked up in slo-mo, with the implicit suggestion that the on-field ref is missing things. It is totally negative, cheap, trouble-making nonsense that puts undue and unwarranted pressure on refs just so the commentators and pundits have "Controversy!" to talk about. So fkn grubby and I hate, hate, hate it.

I could not agree more. Somehow the amateurish producers increasingly seem to think that 15 seconds of a random ex-player/manager/celebrity sitting in his seat, is more relevant to show than the actual game itself. As long as the game is on, that's what we want to see, so please **** off with the other nonsense. Happens every bloody game - who are these imbeciles making these decisions??
