and they were very unlucky to miss out on finishing 2nd in their CL group last season.
 
I'll close this off any publish the results after the play off final. 98 votes in so far, it'd be nice to hit three figures.

Not voted myself, don't want any of them.. me want Ancelotti, then Yakin.

Edit - I missed out Martinez, who I wanted instead of AVB who I thought was damaged goods.

It was 93 votes once I pruned out the multiple votes and people who are not registered on this site.

I agree on Yakin. Basel really impressed me when we played them and when I have watched them in the Champions League.

I have questions about how good Martinez is but there is not a candidate that I don't have some reservations about. Rumours yesterday were that he is interested, we should certainly talk to him if that is the case.

94 --if there is one there from spursfan or similar as I couldn't be arsed to log in once I'd started and then the voting thing played up a bit, I got annoyed and definitely couldn't be arsed to log in...

You don't need to log in, just enter your name and email address used to register here. I used that so I could filter out multiple votes and trolls.

I've been on this forum for over a decade now - yet due to a) being shy an therefore and intermittent poster and b) my post count being reset every time we have redesign, certainly last time anyway, I've only managed to amass 1,235 posts (make that 1,236 now)

Can't you just bump my post count up a bit - so I can feel a bit more important.

FdB all the way, I just have a good feeling about him, nothing too technical I know. I like the fact he really wants to join I imagine he may well see us as a step up but if he does then he will have proven it with us before moving on.

I also liked him as a player
 
My vote is in on the candidates listed, but I would really like Martinez. I'm sure DL could prise him out of Everton if the price is right.

I would love Martinez but im discounting him out of the race. He is a loyal kinda guy

Yeah, he's holding out for a guy with 1 FA Cup win to his name in 30 years of management. As opposed to someone of Ancelottis caliber. I don't think Levy is the sort to hold out for anyone.

So now we are comparing a guy who has managed Juve, Milan, PSG, Madrid, and Chelsea to a guy who has managed Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth,West Ham, QPR and Spurs?

I don't rate any manager who has been given the easy route into management. Prove your worth from the bottom to the top and you maybe regarded as a top manager.
