It seems partly because of the win at OT, coupled with people feeling sorry for him because they felt the Blackburn fans were just a little too nasty in wanting a terrible manager out of the job.

6.

Brilliant ball back in by mason

On the stretch, last second of the game, volleys it back across the 6 yard box

10 men forward, but not one on the 6 yard line

Arsenal actually continue attacking when they have a comfortable lead. When we we go a couple of goals up againsy mediocre/poor teams, we start tinkling around passing the ball exclusively sideways and backwards. That is the reason why we don't give any teams "a good hiding" anymore.

absolutely spot on mate.

Against a blackburn team in 18th place...

With their two best players missing...

With a player sent off...

we failed to smash bottom of the table Bolton, with their best defender Cahill sent off too, earlier in the season

i dont care about the Arse, but i has been noticeable this season how we havent given someone a thrashing goal wise. Always good fun when it happens:)

Who cares about a good old thrashing? Beating Wigan and Bolton 3-1 and 3-0 respectively is more than fine with me. Hated the fact we beat Wigan 9-1 and then failed to score against other sides. Although each 90 should be looked on as seperate games, I often think perhaps 1 or 2 spurs players may look at their own records and think well I've scored X amount in Y games. I'm hoping that is a thing of the past now.

a couple of positive thrashings also help with the goal difference. could come in handy
