Yeah, both got revoked but hey they didn't know that at the time :D

I find it amazing how he keeps moving to these clubs and they win trophies, I mean before he went Inter wasn't it fudging ages since they last won the title? Same with AC Milan too!

He simply adds his usual 20+ goals a season ;)

It's almost as if he's an excellent player.

I'm not sure if this is a joke but he's managed to maintain a 1 in 2 record (akin to a very good striker) throughout a career spanning more than 10 years in some of europe's top leagues, so to be fair - he's done quite well. Anything more than that (goal return) borderlines on sensational and those are generally rare

Zlat still goes missing on big european nights

I love him though, great domestically

Zlat and Berba are so much alike - that candid style and utter class on the ball can be a joy to watch when your team's doing well. But when brick hits the fan it gets all 'move your arse you lazy bastard!' :D

I suspect that their support is split in their opinions of how he should be welcomed. Just as ours would be if we were in a similar position.

I remember that at the start of the season Spurs fans were very divided about whether Modric deserved our support or contempt. I even remember a few people on this forum suggesting that they would accept Sol Campbell back (when he was good) if it would definitely lead to us finishing higher up the table.

Maybe that's why I've never seen him play a good game (1st leg against Arsenal accepted). Bit of a flat track bully maybe?

flat track bully? isnt that Defoe

Gutter Boy? clarification urgently required !

I definitely wouldn't have him at Spurs or cheer him after he pulled those kind of stunts. That frivilous apology was obviously drafted by his agent. I disagree with the way Modric conducted himself at the beginning of the season, but to his credit, he got on with it after the window closed, he didn't fudge off back to Croatia to sulk/work on his short game.

Hence why didn't make it at Barca. You need more than ability to play for teams like United and Barca, being a talented player simply isn't enough.

I wouldn't say he didn't make it, I think he was quality at Barca. The refs were always a bit harsh on him in La Liga and he had a ridiculous price which put crazy pressure on him, and also I guess him and Pep just didn't get along. He was in no way a flop, common misconception in my opinion
