Happy for them just as minnnows, but given that their squad was killed in a plane crash in 1993, it's pretty awesome.

One player in the Zambian squad plays for a club outside Africa (Young Boys).
All players is the Ivorian squad play outside Africa.
I love it when stuff like this happens.
 
Ivory Coast went through the entire tournament without conceding a goal. Until this penalty shoot out that is.

I was thinking that. You see the African players and staff and fans and dancers in grass skirts and the pitch cutting up and you're thinking of the stereotype - Africa as a relatively poor tribal continent. But the Ivorian players could buy spurs and eat levy for breakfast
